A Wedding at Ruffletts St Andrews

Sometimes photographing a wedding can be stressful, timings run late – often due to vagaries in the weather – and at other times, well, things just go absolutely to plan.

Graeme and Jackie’s wedding on Saturday at the University Chapel, St Salvator’s and then Ruffletts Hotel was the latter.

What a fantastic wedding, the sun shone all day long allowing everyone to stay outdoors until late evening and make the most of the beautiful surroundings at Ruffletts, giving me in turn lots of photo opportunities. 

Graeme and Jackie were great sports, it does get tiring being photographed all day long but they were very patient and accommodating and their efforts have been rewarded.  They now have a great set of photos which captured their day and will give them lasting memories.

60th Birthday Celebrations on the Swilken Bridge

It’s every golfers dream to visit St Andrews and play the Old Course.

Dave and his family came to St Andrews from the USA for just that very reason.  It was his 60th birthday and he wanted photos taken - where else – but on the Swilken Bridge.  In the end, the choice of photos was too difficult and he opted for a multi image depicting lots of different photos as his memento.  At this time of year,  playing the Old Course is by ballot only and the timing couldn’t have been better for Dave, he played on his 60th birthday.  It doesn’t get any better than that!
